The large front panel of the Bookbag Backpack is perfect for showing off feature fabrics. The handy pockets make it easy to keep track of where you've stowed your belongings. The bag includes a hidden zipped pocket on the front, for storing your keys or travel card, and a zipped pocket inside for smaller items.
The bag can be stabilised with either fusible fleece or Soft & Stable depending on how sturdy you wish it to be. For extra strength, you can choose to add optional rivets to the bag.

What fabrics did you use for your Bookbag Backpack?
I made my cover bag from Poetic Saddle in Iris with Rhythmic Hatch Dream for the straps both from Bari J's Anna Elise line for Art Gallery Fabrics. I used 'Gumdrop' by Kona Cotton for the accents. I used some eyelet lace trim cut in half to trim my front pocket and back strap support, I think it pairs really nicely! I used regular quilting cotton for the outer and lining, medium weight interfacing on the lining panels (Vilene F220) and headliner foam for the outer panels.
